Textile Design

During her career Emma has been commissioned by several major UK retailers to design their household textiles and beach towels and has also designed collections for mills in Portugal, Egypt and India.

Emma’s trend-led abstract designs for M&S in the early 1990’s revived the beach towel as a fashion accessory. Emma has also worked with John Lewis, House of Fraser and most recently Debenhams on their beach towel ranges.

In addition to designing household textiles and beach towels Emma has worked with the design intelligence company WGSN illustrating their trend forecasts for the home.

With the launch of her craft-led interior design company Emma plans to add to her library of talented designers’ hand printed fabrics and wallpapers with her own complementary range.
